Anchor Social: A Love Letter to Community & Cuisine
Anchor Social is a New American restaurant in the heart of Milford’s Woodmont neighborhood, right across from Anchor Beach. With an easygoing beach bungalow vibe, the restaurant serves chef-driven comfort food elevated with fresh, local ingredients. It is inspired and owned by lifelong Woodmont resident Rebecca “Becky” Fugal, who has called the neighborhood home for 44 years, and her husband John, who brings over 35 years of hospitality expertise. Together, they created Anchor Social as a true love letter to the community.
Favorites with a Fresh Twist
The menu reimagines favorites in creative, unforgettable ways. Early standouts include Crab Nachos with lump crab, house-made tortilla chips, roasted corn salsa, guacamole, Colby Jack, and cumin lime crema; Pork Belly with peach BBQ, corn succotash, and pickled red onion; Tuna Nigiri with sushi rice, ahi tuna, sriracha, and white soy; and a traditional New England Lobster Roll with fines herbs, yuzu, buttermilk, and brioche. Steps from the shoreline, Anchor Social offers a dining experience that feels both vibrant and familiar, like home only better.

The staff and bar is lively and welcoming, perfect for catching Sunday Night Football with wings, or meeting friends for Anchor Hour over a charcuterie board, craft cocktails, wine, and local beer. And just like every great meal, the best is saved for last. Desserts at Anchor Social are a true treasure worth finding, crafted by Chef Brittany Kearney, a classically trained pastry chef from Jean-Georges. Highlighted treats include Bonfire on the Beach, a decadent chocolate ganache tart with graham cracker crust and homemade toasted marshmallow fluff, and Captain’s Carmel Crunch with Sea Salt Gelato, caramel candied popcorn, honey roasted peanuts, hot fudge and fresh whipped cream. From first bite to last sip, Anchor Social is Milford’s new destination for a night out, flavor, and community.
